Harley-Davidson Softail description

2000 Harley Heritage Springer, FLSTS, This is a twin cam 88, 1450cc, Carb. engine, always used synthetic oil, tires excellent, leather is great, paint is great,(shallow ding on front fender, hard to notice, paint was not chipped, very small abrasions, on rear fender under luggage rack, might buff out. Also, rock chip(small) on headlight lens, hard to see and light works fine. This is a very very clean and nice bike. It has so many options, its hard to describe...please look at photos and ask me questions.

I rode it to Sturgis this year and it purrs like a kitten, brakes are new, front and rear, tires nearly new, highway bar and pegs, HD helmet lock, bar and shield all over, highway lights, 12volt plug in and pop out lighter, clock, thermometer, cup holder, very hard to find curved rear luggage rack, blue dot turn and brake lights, Dual fishtail pipes (sound fantastic), rear mud flap.I have original back seat, I have only used it as a solo. I also have a short crescent shaped back rest for the front seat, The back rest on it now is the more expensive high back, very comfortable. Tear Drop mirrors, detachable windshield, brand new light gray plastic, windshield bag on and on and on........

I had a blue LED light system installed by the best of the best at Sturgis, they are awesome and get nothing but compliments, these have two remotes and do lots of tricks. These are engine and underneath the bike. All kinds of usual extras....see photos. There is nothing I know of wrong with this beautiful bike, I need to sell it for medical reasons. I will answer all questions to the best of my ability, would love for you to come see it if possible, before bidding. Thanks

Motorcycle Stirrups – Yes, They Exist!

Wed, 15 Jan 2014

What do you get when a lifelong horse rider and motorcyclist from Nebraska gets inspired to combine his two loves? Why, motorcycle stirrups, of course! The idea came to Devin Santana, proprietor of Nebraska City Iron Works, one day when he was riding his Harley-Davidson down the road and looked down at his feet.

In March, the party comes ashore in Florida at Harley’s Daytona Bike Week festivities and the whole shebang culminates in Milwaukee on August 29-31 with a massive blowout that includes a concert, the World’s Largest Bike Night at the H-D Museum, and more.

Barbie and Ken get biker makeover

Mon, 15 Feb 2010

IF YOU'VE a young daughter and you want to keep her away from motorcycles when she's older (or more likely the men that ride them) then look away now.Yes folks, Barbie and Ken are getting serious makeover to keep them up-to-date for 2010 - the new Harley-Davidson endorsed couple now come complete with biker gear, tattoos and even piercings (a Prince Albert, perhaps?). It makes you wonder what Mattel, the company behind the plastic duo, has next in the pipeline. Maybe they'll have a model of Birmingham airport, where Ken can kick the sh*t out of rival bike gang members?
