VERY CLEAN AND A RARE FIND FOR A 1992 HERITAGE.  THE MOTOR  RUNS GREAT AND TRANSMISSION SHIFTS GOOD. THE BIKE LOOKS VERY ORIGINAL WITH SOME NICE AFTERMARKET PIPES AND SOME CHROME ACCESSORIES. THERE ARE A COUPLE CHIPS IN THE PAINT, BUT VERY MINOR, (SHOWN IN PICS).  THIS BIKE IS IN ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION FOR THE YEAR.  THE BIKE WAS TRADED IN ON A NEW HARLEY.  IT HAS A NEW REAR TIRE AND THE FRONT TIRE IS GOOD. THE BIKE DOES HAVE OIL LEAK AT BASE OF CYLINDER WHICH IS VERY COMMON .  I AM NOT A HARLEY EXPERT SO PLEASE CALL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS  SHANE 518 229 7280  NO RESERVE!!  BIKE IS FOR SALE LOCALLY. Harley-Davidson Adds Twin Cam 96 and 103 Engines to Factory Remanufacturing Program

Harley-Davidson has added the Twin Cam 96, Twin Cam 103 and 2003-2006 CVO Twin Cam 103 engines to its engine remanufacturing program. The program, which previously accepted 1984 and newer Evolution 1340, Twin Cam 88, Twin Cam 88B and Twin Cam 95 powerplants, takes used engines, rebuilds and repaints them. Customers can take their existing Harley-Davidson motorcycle to a dealer which will remove the engine and send it back to the factory.

Harley-Davidson reported a net income of $190.6 million over the second quarter of 2011, thanks to the first year-on-year quarterly improvement in the U.S. market in nearly five years. For the three months ended June 26, 2011, Harley-Davidson’s operating income totaled $301.9 million, a 38.0% increase from the $218.8 million reported in the same period of 2010.

H-D Confirms Road Glide Dump

In a conference call with investors yesterday, Harley-Davidson Inc. admitted the rumors are true: the Motor Company is dropping the Road Glide. According to the Milwaukee Business Journal, during the investor call Thursday discussing second-quarter results Harley-Davidson (NYSE: HOG) Senior Vice President and CFO John Olin publicly confirmed the previously reported model dump to the Motor Company’s Touring lineup.
