Harley-Davidson Softail description

This is the opportunity to own the iconic Harley Fat Boy Gray Ghost at an affordable price.  Being a new/old rider, I had always wanted one of these classic bikes and finally found this one at a reasonable price.  It's in EX/VG cosmetic condition, particularly for a 26 year old machine and from what my mechanic has told me it is nearly all original.  Since purchasing the bike, I have probably put less than 200 miles on it and have sunk about $1,500 into it having my shop go over it and take care of any issues (starter solenoid, O rings, etc).  I understand that the EVO engine is a bit quirky and an old bike like this requires frequent care and attention so the best home is with an owner who knows something about motorcycle mechanics and does some of the work himself/herself (I don't). This old bike doesn't compare with my newer Victory and Triumph motorcycles in terms of performance but it's a head-turner and to own one is to own a piece of motorcycle history.

I am now moving to a mountain top home back east and won't be able to enjoy it any more other than looking at it (which is indeed a pleasure but not justification to keep it).

Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
