As the title says I have a 2007 sportster 883 low I am selling. Being an seven it is fuel injected and rubber mounted motor has dealer installed Andrews cams, full Vance and Hines exhaust, V and H fuel pack tuner, and a stage one air cleaner. It runs very well for an 883 and sounds amazing. This bike gets a consistent 51 miles-per-gallon. The bike also has 16 in ape hangers that are very comfortable not too high, also has Burly brand forward controls and already has quick disconnects for passenger seat backrest. Tires are nearly brand new. Clean bike always stored inside, has 1 blemish on left side of tank nothing major. 20k miles cams etc done at 15k clear title in hand. $3400 cash only. Buy it now and flip it in spring. Great christmas gift. Look around you will not find an seven this clean with the mods for this price. 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Data
Tue, 04 Feb 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.
US Highland Making a Comeback
Thu, 13 Oct 2011US Highland appears to be making a comeback, announcing plans to begin processing new orders and having discussions with several OEMs for the use of the Oklahoma company’s powertrains. The Tulsa-based company did not mention which OEMs it is working with, though US Highland says the discussions could result in sales of over 20,000 units per year. The company is developing fuel injected V-Twin engines in 750cc, 950cc and 1050cc displacements and Singles in 350cc, 450cc and 507cc displacements.
