Great patina on this one for that barn find look. 66cc 2 cycle. I have built about 40 of these board track racer replicas that have found their way all over the U.S. These motorbikes are great as pit bikes, put around at car/motorcycle shows etc. I've added a few upgrades over stock kits like a U.S. made performance head, U.S. made size 41 drive chain over the cheap Chinese chain, upgraded engine hardware, a larger high compression head (for better cooling and performance than the stock head), and a balanced single piece crank. Top speed is about 36mph with the current sprocket. The bike is running, dialed up, and tuned in. Performance parts can be found on Ebay to make a 1.5 hp motor all the way to 10hp. Survey Says Harley-Davidson and BMW Motorcycles Less Reliable Than Japanese – But Owners Don’t Care
Tue, 26 Mar 2013A new survey conducted by the Consumer Reports National Research Center finds BMW and Harley-Davidson owners are much more likely to report major problems with their motorcycles than owners of Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha motorcycles. The survey, which will appear on the April 2013 issue of Consumer Reports, says one in three BMW owners reported experiencing a major problem with their bikes in the last four years. Harley-Davidson owners were slightly better, with one in four reporting serious issues.
