Hero Motocorp Teases Harley-Davidson-branded Model for India
Wed, 05 Apr 2023An Indian-made air-cooled Single-cylinder Sportster? Harley-Davidson and Hero Motocorp announced a partnership back in 2020 for the distribution of existing Harley motorcycles and the development of a new range of models for the Indian market. New Indian Commercial Pokes Fun At Harley-Davidson
Thu, 18 Jul 2013The big news in the motorcycle world this year is the return of Indian motorcycles. Earlier this year, parent company Polaris unveiled the all-new Thunderstroke 111 engine as a sneak peak to the 2014 Chief which is set to make its official debut at Sturgis at the beginning of August. New Harley-Davidson Sportster for India to Use 500cc V-Twin
Thu, 03 Jan 2013When Harley-Davidson first entered the Indian market, The Motor Company decided to import existing models as complete knockdown kits for final assembly in the burgeoning market. Considering the average motorcycle in India has a displacement smaller than 200cc, it was inevitable Harley-Davidson would eventually have to produce a small-displacement model rather than rely on its existing product line which currently lists the 883cc sportsters as its smallest bikes. Despite a denial last May by Harley-Davidson India’s Managing Director Anoop Prakash, it now appears Harley-Davidson is set to announce a new small-displacement model to be produced in India at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo next February.
