2012 Harley-Davidson Road Glide CUSTOM, For Sale 2012 Harley Davidson Road Glide Custom FLTRX. My wife and I have a baby on the way and my wife wants to stay home with the baby so with the reduced income in the near future, I think I better sell it. In January of 2012 we ordered the bike from Eastern Shore HD, I wanted three things black denim, security system and ABS, that is what was ordered. I've since added 4 Rinehart Mufflers, gutted the catalytic converter, added black heat shields, Installed the RC Components RCX-CELERATOR fuel management system(auto tuner), 4-point docking hardware for attaching a sissy bar, tour pack, luggage rack or what ever else you may want to attach.... The bike does include a nice comfortable back rest for the passenger in your life, the sissy bar is black and looks really sharp. It has about 9700miles on it and is under warranty until January 2014. The average retail for this bike per NADA is $20,917. Fri, 19 Dec 2008Every year it seems that newspaper advertisements, radio and TV commercials for Christmas start earlier and earlier. As soon as the sun begins to set on Halloween, department stores begin packing shelves and websites start stocking inventory in preparation for the impending feeding frenzy that will occur for the most commercial of holidays next to valentine’s day. While spending the holiday with family normally keeps me blitzed off eggnog and most of these aforementioned advertisements are enough to make me want to book a cruise for an entire fortnight at the end of December, this one commercial for Harley-Davidson made me laugh.
Easy Rider 40th Anniversary
Tue, 27 Oct 2009Peter Fonda, who played Wyatt in the 1969 cult classic, Easy Rider, was in Glendale, CA on Friday to help promote the Blu-Ray release of the film which marks the 40th anniversary. The movie was scheduled to be shown at the Love Ride event that was canceled this year, instead the film screened at a local Harley-Davidson dealer. One of the film’s main objective was to expose violence and racism in the U.S. in a negative light but instead it seems that it was taken the wrong way with most, glorifying the lifestyle that was portrayed in the film.
