2008 Harley-Davidson FLSTF - Softail Fat Boy, Aluminum wheels identify this Softail as the one and only Fat Boy.One of the most recognizable motorcycles on the road, the FLSTF Fat Boy defines Harley-Davidson for many people. Still going strong after 18 years and as massive as it is iconic, the Fat Boy rolls on a 200 mm rear tire and chopped FL rear fender. Laced leather and bullet studs trim the two-up seat and tank strap. A big 17-inch front wheel and bright chrome fork nacelle lead the way. Zero Motorcycles Launches Dealer Network
Tue, 12 Jul 2011Zero Motorcycles announced a new network of eight dealerships as the electric motorcycle company begins the transition from an online-based sales model to a traditional showroom sales model. Until now, Zero conducts its sales over the Internet with the help of a system of Independent Representatives around the country who use a handful of demo models instead of actual inventory to showcase the brand. As both demand and production have increased, Zero is ready to adopt a new dealer-based model.
Zero Motorcycles Named to Made in USA Foundation Hall of Fame
Tue, 03 Jul 2012The Made in the USA Foundation has named Zero Motorcycles to its 2012 Hall of Fame class, recognizing the electric motorcycle manufacturer’s commitment to American manufacturing. Zero Motorcycles, founded in 2006 in Santa Cruz, Calif., by former NASA engineer Neal Saiki, becomes the second motorcycle manufacturer named to the Foundation’s Hall of Fame. Harley-Davidson was inducted in 2011.
