But that doesn t mean the eyes can t join the fun, which is why we build the 883 Custom. A chrome bullet headlight leads the way, followed by a flat handlebar on pullback risers. A 4.5-gallon fuel tank adds some meat to the clean custom profile. You get a powder-coat treatment on the engine, and forward controls for an easy-going riding posture. A new Suede Blue Pearl paint job can be yours to add a 60s vintage muscle look. And up top, a two-up seat. Anything that looks this good is going to attract company.

Forbes Expects Harley-Davidson to Announce Gains for Q3 2011
Mon, 17 Oct 2011In anticipation of Harley-Davidson announcing its third-quarter performance in 2011 Forbes.com expects Harley will reveal its third straight quarter of sales growth. The article says that financial analysts expect “earnings of $0.76 per share, up 47.4% from the same quarter of last year.” Additionally, an 18.8% gain in revenues is expected. Interestingly, the article refers to Harley’s motorcycles as “luxury items,” and as such sees Harley’s increased sales and profit as a possible harbinger of an improving U.S.
Harley-Davidson World Ride Scheduled for June 22–23

Participating in an activity that is also taking place at the same time all over the world adds a special meaning to the event. Begun in 2008 by the Harley Owners Group as Million Mile Monday and renamed and enlarged in 2012 toHarley-Davidson World Ride, this event simply asks all “friends of Milwaukee” to get on their hogs and ride on June 22–23.
