2007 Harley-Davidson XL1200C - Sportster 1200 Custom, A powerful performer that goes the distance in style, the XL Sportster 1200 Custom features a 4.5-gallon fuel tank and fuel-injected XL Evolution 1200cc engine. New gauges include a clock, low-fuel warning light and two trip set odometers, while longer handlebar wires provide more customization options. Reduced clutch and break lever effort make the XL Sportster 1200C that much more fun to ride. Chrome Laced Steel 21-inch front wheel, Chrome Slotted Disc Cast Aluminum rear wheel, forward controls and a riser-mounted pullback handlebar take to the street in style. Chrome, Profile Laced Aluminum wheels are an available option. Eight solid and four two-tone color options are offered for 2007, plus three two-tone custom color combinations.

Harley Declares Women Riders Month
Tue, 10 Feb 2009Back in July of ’08 Motorcycle.com announced that The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum and Nationwide Insurance were working together to mark July as Women’s Motorcycle Month in order to honor the contribution made to history by female riders. This May, Harley-Davidson is staging a series of events in order to celebrate women on two wheels by declaring May, “Women Riders Month.” Some of the Harley-Davidson Women Riders Month initiatives will include special rides in New York City and Milwaukee as well as an attempt to grace the pages of the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest number of women motorcycle riders trained in one weekend. Harley-Davidson dealerships will also be hosting women-only Garage Parties, which consist of informal meetings in an unintimidating environment where women can learn about motorcycling.
MSF Begins Year-long Real World Motorcycle Safety Study
