2006 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide CLASSIC, Selling my 2006 Electra Glide Classic. It has a 1450cc twin cam engine, 5 speed transmission. It is all stock. The original owner dropped it while loading it on a trailer insurance company opted to buy the motorcycle. The only damage done was the front fender engine guard and the right passing lamp. I have everything and replaced. I've been riding it for two seasons. Would not be afraid to take it anywhere. Mileage will change. I ride it everywhere. Only reason for selling is that I have vintage restore project I'm working on. There is a small ding on left side of fuel tank. and a looks like a exhaust pipe rub on the outer primary cover. UFC Set To Rumble For H-D’s 110th Anniversary
Wed, 29 May 2013The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) octagon is set to ride into Milwaukee for Harley-Davidson’s 110th Anniversary celebration, giving fans an opportunity to witness one of the hardest-hitting live MMA fights of the year – the UFC 164 Harley-Davidson Hometown Throwdown. UFC stars including Cain Velasquez, Mike Chiesa and Matt Hughes will be at the BMO Harris Bradley Center in downtown Milwaukee on August 31 for the action-packed card, which will feature more than 10 hard-hitting bouts. “UFC and Harley-Davidson fans will experience the passion of the world’s best fighters when they duke it out in the Octagon in our backyard here in Milwaukee during our 110th Anniversary,” said Mark-Hans Richer, Chief Marketing Officer at Harley-Davidson.

Tue, 08 Oct 2013Harley-Davidson is recalling the 2014 Tri Glide Ultra Classic trike because of a problem with . At the moment, a recall has only been announced by Transport Canada; the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has yet to announce the recall due to the federal government shutdown, but recall notices are already being sent out to dealers in the U.S. According to the Canadian agency, the upper fork stem bracket was machined incorrectly, allowing for more steering angle than intended by the trike’s specifications.
US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
