Harley-Davidson Other description

2004 Harley-Davidson FXST/FXSTI Softail Standard, Great bike to get riding on. New rear tire, Backrest and Sreamin Eagle Pipes. Call Today 877-251-2453 - Only 11500 mile with Backrest, Screamin' Eagle Pipes, High Flow Intake, New Rear Tire and More!! In a world filled with flash and trash, it’s good to know there’s a machine like the one you see here, the Softail Standard. Everything about it is pure and beautifully basic. It starts with a silver powder-coated Twin Cam 88B engine, with carb or EFI. Dual counterbalancers make it feel as smooth as it looks. The Softail Standard features a raked FX fork, laced wheels, fat rear tire and a bobtail fender for the styling traditionalist. A hidden rear suspension shelters the backside from bumps while maintaining the clean hardtail appearance. Many will find this bike everything they want. Still others will put some sweat equity into it with Genuine Motor Accessories and some wrenching. If you’re one of them, the perfect steel canvas awaits.

The Dyna Switchback uses Harley-Davidson’s Twin Cam 103 engine, 2-into-1 chrome exhaust, and five-spoke cast aluminum wheels with full fenders.

Shelved Harley-Davidson Penster Tilting Trike Prototypes Revealed

Thu, 04 Aug 2011

The Harley-Davidson Museum has pulled the covers off discarded prototypes of a leaning three-wheeled motorcycle developed by The Motor Company. Harley-Davidson commissioned automobile hot rodding legend John Buttera to build the original prototype (pictured above) in 1998. Codenamed the “Penster”, the Trike looks like it could have been an earlier version of the Can-Am Spyder, but it had a tilting front end similar to the Piaggio MP3.
