Harley-Davidson Other description

2003 Harley-Davidson V-Rod , 2003 Harley Davidson 100th Anniversary VRSCA V-Rod with low miles for the year and looks/runs great. I purchased this bike from Conrad's Harley Davidson in IL this spring and everything was checked out before it left. The bike has a new battery as of 5-1-13 along with a trickle charger lead installed. Before the bike left the store they added Bub pipes for me that really sound great. I put a K&N High flow air filter in 7-1-13. On 8-30-13 the bike got new front brake pads (Harley Davidson Pads) and the fluid flushed. At that time I also had a oil change done with AMS Oil. Please let me know if you would like to see the bike or have any other questions. 100th Anniversary VRSCA V-Rod A truly original, technologically masterful machine that combines raw performance and long, low, hot rod styling. Its built around the race-inspired Revolution engine. A high-revving, liquid-cooled, 115-hp, 60, 1130cc, fuel-injected V-Twin marvel that puts the power in powertrain. We showcase this mechanical wonder in a hydro-formed perimeter frame. Then we rubber-mount and counterbalance it for a smooth ride. Part of the trademark of the V-Rod is the styling of the aluminum bodywork. It pushes the look of the fenders, air box cover and dual scoop radiator cover. A factory security system is now standard. Were sure no explanation why is needed. $9,450.00

Harley-Davidson will now assemble the Fat Boy, Fat Boy Special and Heritage Softail Classic in India, joining six models already being assembled in India. The move follows India’s new budget which increases import duties on motorcycles with engines larger than 800cc to 75% from the previous rate of 60%.

Harley-Davidson Reveals Project Livewire

Thu, 19 Jun 2014

Yesterday we published a scoop on what we believed to be a production electric motorcycle by, of all companies, Harley-Davidson, dubbed “Livewire.” Today, H-D officially announced Project LiveWire as the company’s first electric motorcycle. However, it appears as though our speculation about LiveWire going into production was a bit off base. Instead, The Motor Company is continuing with its customer-led product development approach and letting riders decide whether or not LiveWire sees the light of day. Starting next week select consumers across the country will be able to ride and provide feedback on the bike, helping to shape the future of Harley-Davidson’s first-ever electric motorcycle. While not for sale, Project LiveWire is specifically designed for the purpose of getting insight into rider expectations of an electric Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
