1999 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail CLASSIC, Great looking stripped down Harley Softail Classic Purchased last November with approximately 61K miles showing on 2nd speedometer, (uncertain of total mileage) Personally, have ridden less than 150 miles since purchase. (senior citizen doesn't ride much) Lots of refurbish work prior to my purchase: rebuilt primary, chain to belt, new carb, etc. ...plus recent work by certified Harley Mechanic in past 3 weeks replacing flywheel, ignition module, new battery, and other parts. Jury Dismisses Suit Against Harley-Davidson Over ABS Indicator
Tue, 20 Dec 2011A Sacramento Superior Court jury has dismissed a lawsuit filed against Harley-Davidson involving a 2009 accident that left one of the plaintiffs with severe brain injuries. Judy Wilson was injured in an April 11, 2009, crash after her husband, Jack, locked the rear wheel of his non-ABS equipped 2008 Harley-Davidson Road Glide. The plaintiffs contended they believed their was equipped with ABS because the instrument panel had an ABS indicator icon and from the salesperson’s sales pitch.
