Harley-Davidson Other description

1999 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy , You will rarely find another bike like this. I am selling my 1999 Harley Davidson Fatboy. This bike has been immaculately kept, inside a heated garage during winter, cleaned after every run, and quite honestly is just now getting broke in good with only 12k miles on it. This is the kind of bike that you can feel comfortable and proud to ride whether you are hitting your local poker run, out for a ride with your buddies, or heading to Stugis/Daytona/Lil Sturgis. As you can see from the pictures, it has a lot of extras as well. Aftermarket Big Bertha pipes, S&S performance carb, drunk light kit with the extra headlights and the front turn signals are relocated, highway pegs attached to the highway bars, quick detachable windshield, rear brake light cover, premium saddle bags, and of course the detachable premium rear seat and sissy bar. Additionally, I have a tbags storage bag that attached to the sissy bar that is included, as well as a HD bike cover. The bike has had fluids changed regularly and never been laid down. If all your buddies went to sturgis this year without you, this is the bike for you! The low milage and meticulous care of ownership ensures many many many more years of riding on this bike. There simply is no rust on it but plenty of chrome. The reason I am selling it is because my daughter is at the age where she is wanting to ride on it a lot with me and quite honestly I dont trust the 4 wheelers out there on the roads that simply cannot see motorcycles for whatever reason. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have and am open to offers, however I am not interested in trades. Darin 815.712.8995 $10,000.00 8157128995

Harley-Davdison Museum Opens Tsunami Motorcycle Exhibit

Wed, 24 Oct 2012

From Miyagi Prefecture in Japan to Graham Island in British Columbia, Canada, to Milwaukee, Wis., the motorcycle tossed across the Pacific Ocean by the 2011 Japanese tsunami has landed at the Harley-Davidson Museum. The 2004 Harley-Davidson Softail Night Train owned by earthquake and tsunami survivor Ikuo Yokoyama is now on display at the museum as a memorial to those affected by the March 2011 tsunami. The motorcycle will be preserved in the condition it was in when Canadian beachcomber Peter Mark found it inside a cargo box that washed up on Graham Island in May.
