1986 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail CLASSIC, Original paint. Has 26,600 original miles. 1986 is the first year for the Heritage. Bike is always stored in garage. Have detachable backrest and riders backrest also. Have a solo seat, solo seat with passenger pillion and original seat that came on bike. Bike cover, battery tender. I had local dealer put a Barnett kevlar clutch in and a Andrews EV 27 cam in. Crane Cam single fire ignition. Passenger floor boards. Red LED lights that shine on the engine. Windshield pouches. Champion Trikes Acquires Lehman Trikes

Champion Trikes and sister company Champion Investments Inc. has assumed operations of Lehman Trikes, saving the company from closing. Trike conversion kit producer Lehman Trikes suspended its operations March 21 after failing the find investors.

AMA Honors Zero and Scot Harden with Bessie Stringfield Award

The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.

Harley-Davidson Reports Q1 2013 Results

Harley-Davidson reported 15.9%  increase in motorcycle revenue despite selling 9.1% fewer motorcycles over the first quarter of 2013. According to the company’s first quarter 2013 report, Harley-Davidson recorded revenues of $1.15 billion from motorcycle sales, compared to $995.9 million in the same quarter of 2012. At the same time, Harley-Davidson sold 54,254 motorcycles worldwide over the first quarter, down from 59,677 motorcycles in the same period last year.
