1977 FXE Harley Shovelhead. Matching numbers with kick and electric start. Completely rebuilt 4 years ago and 7200 miles. When built all new bearings though out, new tins and paint, new wheels and axles, lots of polished aluminum and chrome, new o-ring chain and sprockets, brakes rebuilt and new discs, M6 Haydon, electronic ignition, CV built for Shovel, Jagg oil cooler, solo and dual seats, saddle bags, tires approx. 3500 miles ago, clean title, and much more. Runs and rides great. Custom tank panel honoring original owner does not go with bike!!!!

AMA Honors Zero and Scot Harden with Bessie Stringfield Award

The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.

2012-2013 Harley-Davidson VRSCDX Night Rod Special Recalled for Loose License Plate Bracket

Harley-Davidson is issuing a recall on all Night Rod Special models from 2012 and some from 2013 because of a potentially loose license plate bracket. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the mounting screws connecting the VRSDCDX‘s license plate bracket to the tail may loosen, potentially causing the plate to rub against the rear tire. This may cause the plate bracket to rotate as well as damage rear brake lines.
