Here is an incredible bike for sale, a TRUE 71 FX boat tail that just received a FULL mechanical restoration and is all stock and VERY correct.  From the flywheels all the way up is totally rebuilt with factory internals, the transmission is correct 71 and has same treatment  cases are matching with no repairs, same with the transmission  has correct heads, cylinders, cases, carb everything is correct  the foot controls are the one year only setup and were refurbished and work perfectly  the correct inner primary with no solenoid hole, short shift lever, primary cover etc    this bike even has ORIGINAL goodyear tires that are nearly impossible to find installed on it which are correct for 1971   bike starts right up first kick hot or cold and rides like new  the whole boat tail section is original paint, the tanks had to be resprayed and are a perfect match  NOS tank decals were installed and also match perfectly  the tank badges are FOX, no stone was left in turned on this bike  correct rims, spokes. regulator etc the original speedo was gone through, its been dancing and working when it feels like it  but not as well as i had hoped.  there hasn't been a 71 fx as nice and as correct as this bike in a long time that i have seen.   even has the correct header pipe with a 5!B harley muffler.  get on and GO doesn't need anything but a new owner

UFC Set To Rumble For H-D’s 110th Anniversary

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) octagon is set to ride into Milwaukee for Harley-Davidson’s 110th Anniversary celebration, giving fans an opportunity to witness one of the hardest-hitting live MMA fights of the year – the UFC 164 Harley-Davidson Hometown Throwdown. UFC stars including Cain Velasquez, Mike Chiesa and Matt Hughes will be at the BMO Harris Bradley Center in downtown Milwaukee on August 31 for the action-packed card, which will feature more than 10 hard-hitting bouts. “UFC and Harley-Davidson fans will experience the passion of the world’s best fighters when they duke it out in the Octagon in our backyard here in Milwaukee during our 110th Anniversary,” said Mark-Hans Richer, Chief Marketing Officer at Harley-Davidson.

Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines rider Ed Krawiec is the 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle world champion. Krawiec clinched the title with a second-round win at the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals at Auto Club Raceway that eliminated Lucas Oil Buell rider Hector Arana Jr., the only rider in the field with a chance to overtake Krawiec for the championship. Krawiec advanced to the final round and lost to his Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines teammate Andrew Hines, who finished the season third in points. Marlon Brando Estate Files Suit Against Harley-Davidson

Brando Enterprises, an operating entity that protects the Marlon Brando brand on behalf of the actor’s family, has filed a lawsuit against Harley-Davidson. The suit alleges Harley-Davidson used the legendary actor’s name without a license for a leather riding boot called “The Brando”. “It is interesting that Harley-Davidson – a company that is vigorously protective of its own brand – would seek to exploit an iconic property without benefit of a licensing agreement,” says  Jeffrey I.
