Harley-Davidson Other description

1969 HARLEY DAVIDSON,

This is a barn find that I found about 7 years ago. The bike was last on the roar in 1975. The motor was out of the bike and in a dry shop, it was rebuilt. I put the bike together 3 years ago and has 600 miles on it. The HD starts right up and runs nice. All the original parts that came off the bike are there. The wheels and tires, voltage regulator, shocks, wiring and master cylinder are after market parts, the rest of the bike is all original HD parts.  Any more questions please call 541-967-9362 Pat

I have the right to end the auction early. .

Shelved Harley-Davidson Penster Tilting Trike Prototypes Revealed

Thu, 04 Aug 2011

The Harley-Davidson Museum has pulled the covers off discarded prototypes of a leaning three-wheeled motorcycle developed by The Motor Company. Harley-Davidson commissioned automobile hot rodding legend John Buttera to build the original prototype (pictured above) in 1998. Codenamed the “Penster”, the Trike looks like it could have been an earlier version of the Can-Am Spyder, but it had a tilting front end similar to the Piaggio MP3.

Bob Probert’s Last Ride [video]

Wed, 14 Jul 2010

The former NHL Detroit Red Wing and Chicago Blackhawks tough guy, Bob Probert, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2010 after suffering chest pains while boating with his family.  Probert was arguably the all time greatest NHL fighter but also had great skills, leadership qualities and a big heart. He was taken to his final destination on a Harley-Davidson sidecar before about 1,000 mourners.  Probert was 45 years old on his passing, he leaves behind his wife Dani, son Jack and two daughters, Brogan and Tierney. A news clip and some Probert highlights after the jump.
