1955 Harley-Davidson SERVI-CAR, No expense spare restoration. The motor and trans were completely rebuilt & completely chromed. The motor & trans are OEM Harley and have matching vin#. The frame was powder coated. The bike has all new bearings & bushings throughout. Every single part has been repaired, replaced, or rebuilt to keep the bike as close to original as possible & to recreate the way it looked on the showroom floor in 1955, OEM parts were used when possible & reproduction when necessary. All parkerized & cadium bolts & clamps. Repro Speedo, Repro wiring harness, repro seat. This bike is perfect in every way. Even the most picky buyers will drool over this bike. Donation of Photos and Memorabilia to Harley-Davidson Museum Reveal Glimpse of Early Days at Harley

Harley-Davidson Museum today posted on its Facebook page a selection of photos it received as part of collection of images and memorabilia donated by a former Harley employee. According to the Facebook post former H-D employee Bob Jameson donated “ two scrapbooks, numerous photographs, news clippings and other company related materials” for the museum’s collection. Jameson, following in his father’s footsteps, worked for The Motor Company, and in 1960 helped develop a motorcycle suited for use in the Vietnam war.

The Milwaukee-based company has unveiled its new V-twin, a 131-inch 'crate engine' designed for post-2017 Touring models. Harley-Davidson has not yet had large engines in terms of capacity and power. This behemoth, which looks like a work of modern technoart, is called the Screamin' Eagle Milwaukee-Eight 131.

2012 Harley-Davidson Dyna Switchback Revealed

Harley-Davidson has revealed a new member to its Dyna family featuring quick change convertibility from touring to cruiser mode. As we expected, the new Harley-Davidson Dyna Switchback features hard saddlebags and fork-mounted windshield that can be removed quickly and without tools, allowing it to change from a touring motorcycle to a cruiser, and back again. The Dyna Switchback uses Harley-Davidson’s Twin Cam 103 engine, 2-into-1 chrome exhaust, and five-spoke cast aluminum wheels with full fenders.
