This is a RARE 1946 FL Stock 74. as you can see in the pictures this a beautiful bike that has been gone over with a fine tooth comb. it has the original tank, Springer front end, Chrome dash with police special speedo and a lot more. there are some custom touches as you can also see in the pictures with a lot of chrome parts and very hard to find parts like the original Flanders risers and the mouse trap shifts linkage and the pegs. it has been converted to 12 volt. If you buy this piece of American classic you will have not only the coolest Harley around you will own a piece of Harley HISTORY. 2012-2013 Harley-Davidson VRSCDX Night Rod Special Recalled for Loose License Plate Bracket
Thu, 25 Oct 2012Harley-Davidson is issuing a recall on all Night Rod Special models from 2012 and some from 2013 because of a potentially loose license plate bracket. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the mounting screws connecting the VRSDCDX‘s license plate bracket to the tail may loosen, potentially causing the plate to rub against the rear tire. This may cause the plate bracket to rotate as well as damage rear brake lines.

Stephen King to Guest Star on ‘Sons of Anarchy’
Tue, 21 Sep 2010Stephen King will be making a guest appearance on the hit TV show, Sons of Anarchy, later tonight. King will play a character named “Bachman”, which I’m sure was no coincidence since he had published under the pen name “Richard Bachman” for several years. Stephen King is a motorcycle enthusiast and was excited to get a tricked-out, bright red Harley-Davidson Road-Glide to ride for the filming of the episode. See his comments about the production here.
