THIS BIKE WAS BUILT TO RIDE. VERY DEPENDABLE.
IT WAS BUILT TO REPLICATE A 1947 HARLEY DAVIDSON FL.
IT HAS A MODIFIED DNA SOFTAIL IN TUBE FRAME.
BUILT WITH A 1958 TO 1964 SWING ARM FRAME. HAS A ROUND 1958 TO 1972 SWING ARM WITH 11"SHOCKS TO ADD TO THE GREAT RIDE.
ADDING TO THE NOSTALGA IT HAS A 1962 TO 1972 REAR DRUM BRAKE SYSTEM, RIDING ON A 16" MODEL 500 TIRE.
THE FRONT END IS SET UP WITH A 28" IN LINE SPRINGER WITH FRONT DISK BRAKE, WITH A 18" MODEL 400 FRONT TIRE.
BOTH FRONT AND REAR HUBS ARE UPDATED WITH TIMKEN STAR HUB-ASSEMBLIES.
FRONT AND REAR FENDERS ARE CUSTOM BUILT TO REPLICATE KNUCKLEHEAD FENDERS.
WHEN IT COMES TO DETAIL,THE HEAD LIGHT ASSEMBLY WAS BUILT TO REPLICATE THE ERA AND CONVERTED TO 12 VOLT.FUEL
TANKS WERE OFF OF A 2006 NIGHT-TRAIN THAT WERE SPLIT AND CUSTOM FABRICATED WITH FLAT SIDE FAT BOB TANKS TO REPLICATE A 1947 FL TO THE "T".
ALSO THE DASH AND THE REAR LUGGAGE RACK WERE HAND MADE TO THE EXACT LOOK OF THE 47 FL..
THE HANDLE BARS ARE REPLICA SPEEDSTER TO ACCEPT A SNAP THROTTLE,AND THE SEAT IS AN ORIGINAL HARLEY SEAT WITH A MODIFIED MOUNTING KIT FOR A SOFT-COMFORTABLE RIDE.
THE OIL TANK IS ROUND ALUM. WITH BATTERY BOX TO ADD TO THE ERA.
LOOKING TO THE PERFORMANCE OF THIS BIKE IT IS POWERED BY AN ULTIMA 2008 113 CU.IN. ENGINE WITH A ULTIMA 6 SPEED TRANSMISSION,WITH EXHAUST HAND MADE SCRAMBLERS WITH HEAT WRAPED TO ALSO MATCH EVERYTHING.

Harley-Davidson Financial Services to Refund $228,000 in Settlement
Thu, 12 Jun 2014Harley-Davidson Financial Services agreed to reimburse more than 600 customers in Massachusetts a total of $228,000 to resolve a dispute over refunding enrollment fees on loans. Customers receiving financing occasionally pay optional enrollment fees for additional special loan terms. If a customer pays off its financing loan ahead of schedule, they may be entitled to a pro-rated refund on those enrollment fees.

Mon, 16 Jan 2012A new display in the Harley-Davidson museum in Milwaukee is set to open at the end of this week exhibiting the artwork of the firm's styling chief Willie G Davidson. As well as being the grandson of the original 'Davidson' and in charge of all Harley's styling, it turns out that Willie G is a dab hand with a paintbrush. According to Harley-Davidson, the display will include “idyllic rural landscapes and still life watercolour paintings with strong luminosity and form that hint at time spent in the countryside during 48 years as the pacesetter in motorcycle design.” The firm's museum has also announced other special exhibits planned for later in the year, including “Journey of the Iron Elite: The Evolution of Motorcycle Culture through the Eyes of African-Americans” and “Born to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket” - a 4000-square-foot display dedicated purely to black biker jackets...
US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
