2012 Harley-Davidson Dyna Wide Glide FXDWG, I just realized that this 2012 Harley-Davidson Dyna Wide Glide has more engine displacement than my car! 103 cubic inches to be exact. Its previous owner was kind enough to install a blacked out two-into-two Vance and Hines exhaust system. The paint job is reminiscent of the 1980 FXWG black with flames paint that knocked the collective Motorcycle Industry on its Ass back in the day thanks Willie G! A Le Pera solo seat was installed and looks great. If you need a pillion seat for your significant other, a back pad is readily available. I would use a lick-em-stick-um suction pad unit. The rear foot pegs are already installed and they are Genuine Harley-Davidson upgrades as are the front ones. Other items from the H/D collections include the shifter peg, brake pedal, front foot pegs and blacked out hand levers. The turn signal lenses are smoked. At only 1,638 miles this FXDWG is just about broken in. It is ready to rock. While exciting, the winter X Games have clearly been lacking one thing – motorcycles – and the Motor Company has joined with ESPN to bring ice racing to mainstream audiences. What could be a better way to introduce the Street 750 to a young, adventure sports-focused market to the Harley line designed by and for them?

Mon, 28 Sep 2009Two weeks ago, I took a break from my regular duties gathering news for Motorcycle.com to fly to Germany to cover the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show for our sister site AutoGuide.com. For two hectic days, AutoGuide editor Colum Wood and I scrambled across the massive 6.2 million square foot Messe Frankfurt trade fair compound, running from press conference to press conference to get the latest on exotic sport cars, futuristic concept models and international unveilings from the automotive world. It was heaven for car lovers, but for me, it meant fighting my way through hordes of photogs, auto-journalists and car show models to get the first photos of four-wheeled goodies from MINI, Ferrari and Lotus.
