IT IS DENIM BLACK IN COLOR AND POWERED BY A 1340CC (80') CARBURETED ENGINE AND 5 SPEED TRANSMISSION. THE BIKE COMES WITH 1 KEYS. THERE ARE SOME EXTRAS ON THE BIKE WHICH INCLUDE: CHROME 2 IN 1 BASSANI EXHAUST, FRONT END, BRAKE/SHIFTER PEDAL, DERBY COVER, PASSENGER PEGS, TIMER COVER, HEADLIGHT, MASTER CYLINDER COVER, FORWARD CONTROLS, BRAIDED CABLES, AND BLACK HANDLEBARS, MIRRORS, AND HORN COVER. Several manufacturers blamed poor weather for the poor start this year, and the rebounding sales in the third quarter helped to negate the slow sales from earlier in the year.
Shelved Harley-Davidson Penster Tilting Trike Prototypes Revealed
Thu, 04 Aug 2011The Harley-Davidson Museum has pulled the covers off discarded prototypes of a leaning three-wheeled motorcycle developed by The Motor Company. Harley-Davidson commissioned automobile hot rodding legend John Buttera to build the original prototype (pictured above) in 1998. Codenamed the “Penster”, the Trike looks like it could have been an earlier version of the Can-Am Spyder, but it had a tilting front end similar to the Piaggio MP3.
