Harley-Davidson 1979 FXE SUPER GLIDE 1200 description

2nd owner of this vintage bike. I purchased from original owner in 1993. Heads have  been reconditioned, cylinders honed, new rings, new lifters, Andrews B grind cam, S&S Super E carb, trans rebuilt. 5 gal Fat Bob tanks on bike, also have the original 3.5 gal tanks with same paint scheme. Have most all original parts that came on bike when new. Have extra rear mag with new tire mounted. Also have original seat as one on bike is 2in wider for driver and passenger with gel inserts.  Bike is in excellent condition. NADA value $15490.00

While on location in the Black Hills of South Dakota, PBS’s Antiques Roadshow stopped by the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum to film a segment on motorcycle toys. In the segment host Mark L. Walberg talks with vintage toy expert Noel Barrett about various American-made, antique, cast iron motorcycle toys. Barrett shares the history of these early toys, some tips about how one might tell a reproduction from the real thing, and offers his valuation on several highlighted examples. Walberg also takes a ride on a vintage Harley-Davidson Servi-Car.

Keanu Reeves Starts Arch Motorcycle Company – Production to Begin in 2013

Actor Keanu Reeves is getting into the motorcycle business, starting up the Arch Motorcycle Company with Gard Hollinger of L.A. County Choprods. The new company will build motorcycles based on the KR GT-1 prototype pictured above, with production set to begin in 2013.
