TRUE BARN FIND TIME CAPSULE Harley 1948 F Panhead Motor 48F MATCHING CASES...... Was told only 334 of the F motors made in 1948. Rare Find Transmission Date code G 6 (July 1946) Frame is 48 original, has all markings- can send pictures if needed Top end was switched over to Shovelhead as many people did in the 70's. Bike has been untouched for over 25 years. I purchased bike from local auction. I dont know much about bike but I will do my best to get you whatever info i can. Being Sold AS-IS. Harley-Davidson Reports Q2 2014 Sales Results
Tue, 22 Jul 2014Harley-Davidson reported a net income of $354.2 million over the second quarter of 2014, thanks to a 12.4% increase in sales revenue. Actual motorcycle sales volume stayed about even, however, with unit sales increasing to just 90,218 motorcycles from 90,193 sold in the same quarter last year. Though sales were statistically the same as they were last year, Harley-Davidson generated $1.48 billion in revenue from motorcycle sales alone, up 16.2% from the $1.27 billion reported in the second quarter of 2013.
Bobby Petrino’s Harley-Davidson Available for Auction – Comes With Baggage
Wed, 09 May 2012A 2007 Harley-Davidson Road King Classic reportedly belonging to former University of Arkansas football coach Bobby Petrino is up for auction. Listed as salvage title, the Harley-Davidson is painted in the school’s colors and features a razorback boar – Arkansas’ mascot – painted on the fuel tank with the words “Hawg Wild”. Sports blog ArkansasaSports360.com reported it can confirm the bike was the one Petrino crashed April 1.
