Ducati Superbike description

This is a much babied 998 with tons of carbon and aftermarket goodies. It had been adult owned and garaged since originally purchased. I have had all models of the 916 style (9916, 996, & 998) and the 998 is by far the smoothest of them all and my favorite. With this iteration Ducati ironed out all the kinks and made the best of the 3 with best engine of the 3 (the testastretta). This is a sweet ride and you will be very happy with your purchase.

Extra features:

Cutom black pearl paint – Over $2K

Slipper clutch

Remus Carbon Fiber Exhaust and chip

Ohlins front suspension

Steel braided brake lines

Levers

Carbon front fender

Carbon rear fender

Carbon chain guard

Integrated LED rear turn signals

European front blinkers integrated into the mirrors

All Punisher logos are decals and can be easily removed if you so choose.

The Superstock 1000 and Formula Endurance World Championship list now includes the 2013 Ducati 1199 Panigale R and the MV Agusta F4 RR.

Magneti Marelli to Supply Electronics System to MotoGP Teams

Wed, 26 Sep 2012

It’s no secret that promoter Dorna Motorsports has been trying to push a standardized electronics control unit for teams in the MotoGP World Championship. The lack of a top-tier electronics package has been one of the biggest challenges faced by MotoGP’s claiming rule teams, and a spec ECU would narrow the gap between the CRT bikes and the factory prototypes. The manufacturers competing in the series, Honda, Ducati and Yamaha, understandably are resistant to the idea considering the effort they’ve put in to develop their electronics systems.

WSBK Racer Maxime Berger Losing His Rear Wheel at Donington Park

Tue, 29 Mar 2011

We’re still in awe of a bizarre incident from the past weekend’s World Superbike Race at England’s Donington Park. If you haven’t heard what happened yet, check the video after the jump or read about it in our race report. We’ve seen crashes before where a rider lost control of his rear wheel, but not like this.
