Ducati Superbike description

2010 Ducati 848 Nicky Hayden edition, Bike is perfect except for 3 minor things, The original dash was replaced by the previous owner at around 5300 miles and i have since put around 2800 miles on it. Also theres a small crack in the fairing on the right side but it's not noticeable unless your looking for it. Finally there is a little bit of yellowing around the gas cap due to spillage but its minor. I've had the bike for a little over 2 years and haven't had a single issue.

There are several after market parts on the bike as you can see such as an Akrapovic slip on, integrated tail light, gold brake rotors, Rizoma racing levers, new gold chain, as well as a few other things I'm forgetting.

I always took perfect care of this bike, washed it after every ride, cleaned it meticulously during the winter, never rode it in the rain, and stored it in a heated garage. It runs perfectly and is a major head turner. Its had the 7500 mile service done and i just put on a pair of brand new pirelli Super Corsa tires on it.

I hate to sell it but like most people i lost the time to ride it, any question just ask....Thanks

I will work with shipping providers within reason if you need to have it shipped but only after the full payment has cleared.

The future. But we can't have it

Thu, 10 Nov 2011

It's no secret that we motorcyclists are getting older. We're ageing because less people are passing their bike test each year (roughly 30,000 last year compared to 50,000 for the 10 years before the new two-part test) and so not only is the pool not growing it's not even being replenished and so the average age isn't being diluted down by yoof. When the going gets tough in any situation, you really get to see who's got their shit-sorted and who's light enough on their feet to adapt to change.

Casey Stoner To Be Named MotoGP Legend

Fri, 11 Oct 2013

There’s no question Casey Stoner was (and still is) one of the best riders ever to throw a leg over a motorcycle. His accomplishments on two wheels, especially his championships on both Ducati and Honda machinery, are proof. Next week at the MotoGP round at Phillip Island in Australia, Stoner will join a distinct group of riders as he will be officially inducted into the MotoGP Hall of Fame.

Pierobon Create Frame For Ducati Panigale

Mon, 24 Feb 2014

Pierobon, a company whose primary claim to fame is producing chassis components for Ducati motorcycles, wasn’t deterred when Ducati introduced the 1199 Panigale, the first Ducati which uses the engine as its main stressed member. Instead, the company saw the Panigale as an opportunity to essentially build a frame for the “frameless” motorcycle. This is the result.
