Super clean, super well-maintained example of one of the best sport tourers on the market. I am the third owner, and the bike has always been serviced by the local Ducati dealer. While it has plenty of shove on the road, it still gets over 45 mpg regularly. The bike always starts and always delivers a grin.

Ducati Reports 43% Growth in North America
Thu, 19 Jan 2012Ducati North America announced growth of 43% in 2011 compared to 2010, resulting in the Bologna company’s largest ever market share in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The announcement reinforces claims made by Ducati Chief Executive Officer Gabriele Del Torchio last September: North America has replaced Italy as Ducati’s #1 market. Ducati attributes its growth to the popularity of the Diavel and Mulistrada in North America.

2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale Recall Expands to US
Wed, 20 Jun 2012As we expected, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a recall for the 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale following a similar recall in Canada. The recall affects all versions of the sportbike, including the base 1199 Panigale, 1199 Panigale S and the 1199 Panigale S Tricolore. Ducati is recalling the Panigale because a “non-compliant” screw may have been used to attach the rear suspension linkage to the swingarm.
