Ducati Other description
The 2013 Ducati Diavel Cromo features the sporty design language typical for any member of the Diavel family, but unlike its siblings it comes with a chrome mirror-finish tank, which contrasts with the gloss black parts. This color scheme is combined with horizontal seat stitching and classic Ducati logos. The Ducati Diavel Cromo is built on a unique Trellis frame with light gauge tubing and two lateral die-cast aluminium sections that flow into the rear subframe. At the heart of the Ducati Diavel Cromo lies the Ducati Testastretta 11° which comes with a revised the cam timing configuration. The engine develops a maximum output of 162hp @ 9500rpm and 94lb-ft of torque @ 8000rpm. The bike features Ducati’s electronic Riding Modes which includes three settings namely Urban, Touring and Sport. The three modes are enabled by combining technologies such as Ride-by-Wire (RbW) and Ducati Traction Control (DTC). |

A slightly damp and unfamiliar track likely contributed to a number of crashes and collisions.

Valentino Rossi to Ducati? Not so fast!
Thu, 05 Aug 2010In today’s news that really isn’t news, an interview of Ducati CEO, Gabriele del Torchio, by Bruno de Prato found on Cycle World’s website on August 3rd, reveals the CEO speaking in a matter-of-fact tone about Valentino Rossi’s status as a team member on Ducati’s MotoGP effort. In the CW article, Del Torchio states that the 2010 racing season “will not bring to Ducati any crown in the sport,” but that he looks “forward to Valentino Rossi teaming up with Nicky Hayden.” “Nicky is a wonderful person and a great rider. This year, he greatly contributed to improving our Desmosedici racer.
