Ducati Multistrada 950 will turn into a two-wheeled ambulance

During the Pikes Peak Hill Climb Race, two tourenduros will be on the lookout. Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is 156 turns, 12.42 miles (about 20 kilometers) long and an elevation difference of 1439m between the start and finish points. The difficult route requires special doctors' transport, so during the upcoming 95th race, two Ducati Multistrada 950 touring enduros in the appropriate color scheme and with flashing beacons will be on guard for the health of the pilots.

Bernhard Gobmeier Replaces Filippo Preziosi as Head of Ducati Corse

Ducati has named Bernhard Gobmeier the new general manager of Ducati Corse, handing the former BMW Superbike racing director the reins to the company’s racing program. Gobmeier replaces Filippo Preziosi (pictured above) who will be reassigned to the post of director of research and development for Ducati, shifting his focus from racing to developing new products. Two days after the MotoGP race at Brno Karel Abraham received a bachelor's degree in law. When most riders were fully focussed on the race at Brno, Abraham was also studying for his law exams at his home race. The Ducati rider has had a fragmented season in 2012, missing races through injury, but he was able to get a top 10 finish with ninth in the Czech GP.
