This looks more like Rossi

Fri, 24 Aug 2012

At Brno today Valentino Rossi had a positive session in free practice, finishing closer and within half a second of the fastest time set by Dani Pedrosa. With a best of 1:57.315 and only .457 off Pedrosa's 1:56.858 lap. But it's not just the time that is encouraging, it's the first time in a long while that Rossi has looked more like his old self on the Desmosedici. "I’m happy because we went pretty well today, and in particular, the gap to the front makes us fairly optimistic," Rossi said after free practice.

1199 TerraCorsa

Fri, 25 Oct 2013

Looking like something from Mission Impossible II, this 1199 Panigale S has been given the off-road treatment by MotoCorsa, a Ducati dealer based across the pond in Portland. The bike features a Desert Storm paint job, a stock 1199 exhaust and a custom crash guard. MotoCorsa’s General Manager Arun Sharma said that they “dropped the forks as low as we could in the triple and raised the shock’s ride height as much as possible; the idea being to max out the ground clearance.”“There’s all these guys saying ‘that’s so stupid’ or ‘why would you ruin a good bike like that?’ Well, why not just have some fun and be silly?”The bike’s been taken on a 1200 mile adventure and apparently performed faultlessly across all kinds of terrain. MotoCorsa plan to make another video where the bike is taken off-road again, then driven into the garage before being prepared for a track day.

Want sugar with that?

THE FOUNDER of a Ducati dealership in America has started selling a Ducati-inspired coffee at his shop.Arun Sharma, of Portland Ducati dealers MotoCorsa, says he went on an exhaustive search for the best coffee producers available: "Wine, bikes, coffee — quality always boils down to the people who crafted the product and the people they made it for." 'CorsaCaffe' is available with or without caffeine.“Even if you are not a coffee drinker, you may want to obtain the coffee as a centerpiece," says Sharma. "Packaging like CorsaCaffe’s has never been seen before.”Sharma also sells a Ducati-inspired wine, CorsaVino, which uses the same style branding.
