2014 Ducati 899 Panigale Revealed
Mon, 09 Sep 2013Traditionally, Ducati saves its big reveals for the EICMA Show in November in its native Italy, but with the company now under the helm of Audi, we will have to start looking to Germany for the major announcements. Case in point is the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show where today Ducati officially pulled the covers off its new 899 Panigale, revealing a new “Supermid” version of the 1199 Panigale using the same monocoque frame concept and Superquadro 90-degree V-Twin engine design. Karel Abraham is now a lawyer
Thu, 30 Aug 2012Two days after the MotoGP race at Brno Karel Abraham received a bachelor's degree in law. When most riders were fully focussed on the race at Brno, Abraham was also studying for his law exams at his home race. The Ducati rider has had a fragmented season in 2012, missing races through injury, but he was able to get a top 10 finish with ninth in the Czech GP.
MotoGP Lifts Rookie Rule, Caps Factory Prototype Entries and Adjusts Other Regulations
Fri, 29 Jun 2012As expected, MotoGP organizers have officially lifted the rule barring rookies from racing for factory teams, but the Grand Prix Commission also tweaked some other regulations including a cap on factory prototype machines.
