Ducati Multistrada description

Selling my super clean 2011 Ducati multi-Strada S touring edition. If you know multi-Strada's then you know that this was the top of the line in 2011. It comes with  Olins on the fly electronically adjustable suspension, antilock brakes and traction control.  It also has heated grips and a adjustable V-stream windshield and detachable hard bags.Tires are Michelin GT sports with about 2000 miles on them. Lots of tread left. A full stainless Arrow exhaust. The computer was reflashed by Miami Ducati when the exhaust was installed. The Arrow exhaust has a removable decibel killer baffle. I liked this exhaust sound with the baffle so much that I put the same silencer on my Diavel. This bike has always been garage kept and I don't think I've ever driven it in the rain. No dents, dings or scratches.I am a 56 year old rider and I take care of my stuff. Look at the pictures and look at my history for some of my other bikes I have sold on EBay and how people say the bikes they got from me were like new. I recently moved to Michigan and need to thin the herd of a few more bikes.I just changed the oil and filter on this bike. (Sorry for the greasy fingerprints on chin fairing in pictures)  this bike is 100% ready to ride and needs nothing.  Feel free to call if you have any questions or would like to come see the bike in person.Jeff 630-542-1150. I also have bike listed l for sale locally so this listing may end at any time.

The Making of the Ducati Desmosedici GP12 – Video

Mon, 19 Mar 2012

Ducati has released a video describing the work that went into producing its Desmosedici GP12 to coincide with the MotoGP race machine’s official unveiling. The Bologna, Italy, manufacturer gave the Desmosedici a much-publicized overhaul after a disasterous 2011 season, with star rider Valentino Rossi going without a win for the first time in his Grand Prix racing career. From the post-season test in Valencia, Spain, in November to today, Ducati redesigned is race bike, with Ducati Corse General Manager Filippo Preziosi saying 90% of the parts are new.

£4 part (almost) stops play

Wed, 11 May 2011

When I dropped off my trashed 848 to George White, along with a box of parts, I didn't realise how much work would be involved in preparing the bike for the 848 Challenge. If I did, I probably wouldn't have had the front to show up, point to a date on the calendar two weeks ahead, make everyone a cup of tea and then clear off. Truth be told, it's taken a huge effort to get the bike to a place where it's got everything it needs to go racing and I wouldn't be heading to Assen without the effort of Paul Sands (Sandzee) and Mike Collis at George White who worked all sorts of hours to get it sorted.
