Ducati Multistrada description

2008 Ducati 1100 S Multistrada, 14800 miles -- this bike has the Oehlins suspension.

Mostly stock other than a carbon front fender and belt covers. Comes with the Ducati side bags and an aftermarket top case.

The bike is in good running condition, it has a few scratches on the right side from a standstill drop. The worst part is on the top right of the fairing as seen in the pic and the other scratches are on the right side rear mirror and the rear cowl on the side as seen in the pictures as well. Nothing on the bags, as they were not attached at the time.

Tires changed August 2014 at 12000 miles and have good tread. Replacement lithium battery in June 2015. Last service at 7500 miles.

Both black keys, red key and the all-important card as well as the service and owner’s manuals and tools are included.

Doug Polen Joins Motorcycle Hall of Fame Class of 2011

In today’s news that really isn’t news, an interview of Ducati CEO, Gabriele del Torchio, by Bruno de Prato found on Cycle World’s website on August 3rd, reveals the CEO speaking in a matter-of-fact tone about Valentino Rossi’s status as a team member on Ducati’s MotoGP effort. In the CW article, Del Torchio states that the 2010 racing season “will not bring to Ducati any crown in the sport,” but that he looks “forward to Valentino Rossi teaming up with Nicky Hayden.” “Nicky is a wonderful person and a great rider. 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale Makes Racing Debut

The 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale made its worldwide racing debut this past weekend, winning a race in Spain and scoring a pole position and a pair of podium finishes in South Africa. Ducati‘s latest sportbike isn’t due to make its international racing debut until the Superstock 1000 Cup race, April 1 at Italy’s Imola circuit, but the 1199 has already found success in domestic racing. Ismael Bonilla (pictured above) of EMS Competicion scored the Panigale’s first win in the opening race of the Castellano-Manchego Championship in Spain at the Albacete circuit last weekend.
