Ducati Monster description

2008 Ducati Monster S2R, I've got a 2008 Ducati Monster S2R1000 for sale. 2008 is the last year of the this generation monster and also has black wheels which are only found on the 2008 models. Bike has ~6400 miles. I removed (but still have): - fly screen (front headlight fairing) - stock mirrors - stock clutch cover - full stock exhaust I added: - Carbon Fiber Arrow slip-on exhaust - Marving mid-pipe (from engine to slip-on connection) - open clutch cover that mimics the wheels design (this is no longer made and hard to find) - 2" bar end mirror on left handlebar - a tail chop was done before I got the bike, but I would have done it regardless Bike's ready to go and awesome to ride, it gets stares everywhere it goes. Never been dropped, no scratches. I moved frame stickers to underneath the gas tank, so it's still legal and looks better. Thanks for looking. $6,900.00

Ducati continues to be tight-lipped about the 2012 edition of its Desmosedici MotoGP race bike, but specifications have finally emerged, thanks to satellite rider Karel Abraham and the Cardion AB satellite team. As a satellite entry, Cardion AB and Abraham won’t have the latest updates to the Desmosedici the factory team has access to, but the Czech team’s announcement reveals some of the basis behind the final machine riders Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden will ride. The Czech team revealed on its official webpage its Ducati Desmosedici GP12 will produce around 250 hp from its 999cc engine.

Results From Day 1 Of Second Sepang MotoGP Test

Wed, 26 Feb 2014

With the absence of Marc Marquez from the second Sepang MotoGP test, due to a broken leg suffered in a training accident, another Honda rider took his place at the top of the time sheets, though it’s not who you might think. Alvaro Bautista on the Gresini Honda set the fastest time at the end of the first day with a 2:00.848. The time is 1.3 second slower than the fastest time Marquez set at the last Sepang test.
