A Showa fully adjustable front fork with low friction TiN treatment and a fully adjustable Showa rear shock handle suspension duties. The exclusive Ducati Superbike rising rate, ride height adjustable rear suspension system includes a new single-sided aluminum swingarm. An extraordinarily beautiful “two into one into two” exhaust has been designed for the S4R. With both silencers positioned high and on the right side of the bike, the system has an aggressive and powerful new look. The S4R boasts a wide array of performance features and is available in a new range of colours: solid glossy black, and either blue or red with a white racing stripe. The 996 cc, liquid-cooled, Desmoquattro, fuel-injected, L-twin engine is derived directly from our World Superbike champion race bikes. With muscle to spare, the S4R delivers tractable power and torque over the widest rpm range, so you are “on the gas sooner” and shift less. Effenbert Liberty Promotes McCormick to WSBK Team After Talks With Bayliss Fall Through
Wed, 14 Mar 2012Another Troy Bayliss comeback attempt has fallen through. The Effenbert Liberty Racing Team announced it was in discussions with Bayliss over entering a couple of World Superbike rounds this season as a wild card entry. Those discussions did not develop into a return for the three-time WSBK champion; instead the team will promote rider Brett McCormick to the now four-member Effenbert Liberty WSBK team.

Women’s Sportbike Rally Invades Deal’s Gap September 6-8
Wed, 22 May 2013The annual Women’s Sportbike Rally presented by Draggin’ Jeans is returning for the eighth time to the Smoky Mountains the weekend of September 6-8 for fun, friends, riding and raising funds for the fight against Melanoma. The event headquarters and activities also return to the Deals Gap Motorcycle Resort at the foot of the famous “Tail of the Dragon.” In addition to the beautiful riding in the area, there will be plenty of event activities for all attendees and their guests to enjoy. There will be Friday and Saturday evening festivities, the Sportbike Night and the Sportbikegirl Pit Party, which will feature games, raffles, door prizes, entertainment and camaraderie.
