Ducati Hypermotard description

2013 Ducati Hyperstrada in showroom condition!  Purchased new in October of 2014.  Less than 2700 miles.  Initial break-in service completed by local Ducati dealer and all factory updates completed at that time.  As you can see from the pictures, this Hyperstrada can also be set up to have more of a Hypermotard look.  Carbon fiber windscreen, race seat, and tank bag included ($845 value).  Bike has always been garaged when not in use and has never sat outside overnight!  Never riden in the rain, never down, and not a single scratch.    Side bags have never been used and stored inside. You will be hard pressed to find another used Hyperstrada in this great of condition!

How the 2013 Ducati Multistrada 1200S’ Skyhook Suspension Works

Mon, 24 Sep 2012

When Ducati announced the updates for its 2013 Multistrada 1200 lineup, the Italian manufacturer was surprisingly quiet about the line’s most notable upgrade, the Ducati Skyhook Suspension. All we were told was the system is a semi-active suspension using Sachs components that adjusts its damping settings to varying riding conditions. Ducati has now provided more information about the DSS technology which will be standard equipment on the three “S” versions of the Multistrada 1200, the Touring model, the sportier Pikes Peak model and the new flagship Granturismo model.

Rossi & Ducati: 2011 vs 2012

Thu, 26 Jul 2012

It was meant to be an Italian dream reminiscent of the era when Giacomo Agostini dominated Grand Prix with MV Agusta, but ever since Valentino Rossi joined Ducati he has dwindled into a mid-pack runner. There have been glimmers of hope, a Ducati-best for Rossi in the rain at Le Mans and a good showing in the last round at Mugello. Clearly his best dry weather performance, finishing 11 seconds behind the race winner and within eye-shot of the podium.

A subspecies of the Ducati Scrambler

Tue, 02 Dec 2014

While the motorcycle world is eagerly waiting for the new 2015 Ducati Scrambler to go on sale, Japanese Speedtractor customizers are reinventing their scrambler from a Bolognese brand donor. The motorcycle is based on the 1988 Ducati 750 Sport. The previous owner bought it in the mid-1990s to ride on the track, but after the first Sunday race, he parked the bike in the garage for several years for some reason.
