Love this hooning machine. I've owned ducati superbikes, honda dualsports and yamaha sportbikes and this Hypermotard is my favorite by far. It's a raw, rewarding, torquey, adrenaline pumping machine with a comfortable long haul seating position. Sad to sell. I am moving overseas Jan 1. Only had it since May, previous owner was a Honda Motorsports engineer who babied this thing. 16,400 miles. Inspected by Pro Italia in July. Ducati Reveals Testastretta DVT Engine + Video
Wed, 15 Oct 2014Ducati has introduced a new version of its 1198cc engine featuring a variable timing system. As the name implies, the Testastretta Desmodromic Variable Timing (DVT) engine combines the company’s signature desmo valves with a variable timing system that adjusts both intake and exhaust camshafts. According to Ducati, this represents the first ever application of both technologies for a motorcycle engine.

Tue, 10 Jan 2012My long-term Fireblade went back to Honda last week and, seeing as it’s sunny and mild outside now, I’m already missing it. It is one of the best 1000cc sports bikes out there, I don’t care what anyone else says, the way it makes its power is just perfect for fast road use. With the Power Commander 5 fitted and the fuelling sorted my 2011 Blade performed as well if not better than the 2012 version.
