1978 Custom Ducati. One of a kind great custom Ducati, modified to have a 900SS look. 1978 Bevel drive engine - you will notice the bevel window in the photos. Handmade one of a kind aluminum polished gas tank is eye catching - makes the bike stand out in a crowd. Alloy wheels with polished stainless steel spokes. Del Orto 38mm carbs. Recently painted (2014) with Ducati paint (Ducati Yellow- looks orange). Frame is a 900ss reproduction -- very high end, manufactured 1976-1981 (extremely hard to find -- frame alone would sell for $3K plus). Engine number research shows it is most likely a GTS that was put into the 900SS frame. Odometer is 7938 miles.
Bike was purchased from an individual in Florida 8 years ago. It is a project that was done with a great deal of intergrity - maintaining the lines of the SS with a fraction of the cost.Completely repainted and engine meticuously taken care of. 2014 Ducati 899 Panigale Spied
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Spy photographers have snapped images of what is reportedly a pre-production version of the rumored 2014 Ducati 899 Panigale. At first glance, the motorcycle pictured appears to be the familiar Ducati 1199 Panigale until you look at the swingarm. This sportbike has a double-sided swingarm instead of the single-sided swingarm found on the 1199 Panigale.
