Buell Ulysses description

SELLING TO HELP A LOCAL RIDER WHO JUST LOST HIS LEG IN A WRECK. PART OF THE MONEY FROM THIS BIKE WILL BE DONATED TO HIS FAMILY'S MEDICAL BILLS.

THANK YOU FOR LOOKING.

Up for sale is my favorite bike out of the 9 I've owned; a 2008 Buell XB12X 7800 miles today, set up for adventure touring or sport touring for all day comfort EVEN HAS A FLIP OUT BACKREST!!

Over $1800 in ad-ons  Most of these bikes for sale have 25,000-50,000 miles on them, regularly reaching 80-100,000 miles with only oil changes. They have a cult following for a reason, many neat things about this bike(such as no valve adjustments on the pushrod motor, fuel in the frame, oil in the swing-arm, etc.

Bike has aluminum panniers, tall and low seats, Cyclops Adventure Sports LED headlights, Tourtech headlight guard, Tourtech hand guards, heated grips, T-rex Raching crash cage,Laminar Lip, braided stainless brake-lines, Jardine RT-1 exhaust, K&N air filter, air-box mod, Buell Comfort Kit, K&N breather reroute, oil catch can, Crank-Case breather, 4" LED aux lights, Amsoil since I've owned it, Fresh oil in the engine and gearbox less then 1,000 miles ago, I'm sure I'm forgetting something, comes with all stock parts and factory service manual.
Bike has been down once (under 10 mph on gravel the front tire washed out from being too far on the soft shoulder; minor scratches and a mark in the frame from the back of the pegs. Right bag is also slightly pushed in, which I haven't tried to fix, but I'm sure is an easy fix.

This bike has more TQ, and a higher GVWR then a GS1200, and is much more fun to ride, nearly new Conti trail attack 2's on the bike, and another set that can be added depending on the price. Only selling to consolidate some of my bikes, this thing rides great at 80 and has TONS of power!

Already bought a new KTM so this is just another bike taking up space,  Located in Ogden, Utah (30 minutes from SLC airport, willing to pick up buyer if they opt for a fly&ride instead of shipping. Buyer will of course pay shipping if they opt that route.)
Second owner, clean title in hand.

Specific models to be offered and pricing details have yet to be determined. “The actual EBR collaboration with Hero MotoCorp began in late 2011, when we were contracted to deliver a concept hybrid scooter for Hero in record time for the January 2012 Delhi show,” says EBR founder Erik Buell.

Results From Day 2 Of World Superbike Testing At Phillip Island

    Tue, 18 Feb 2014

World Superbike testing at Phillip Island came to a close today, and when the dust settled, reigning champion Tom Sykes stamped his authority, setting the fastest time of the test at 1:30.239, just five thousandths shy of the outright lap record held by Carlos Checa. The time was set during the morning session of testing, though nobody was able to best Sykes for the remainder of the day. Eugene Laverty, who was fastest on day one, showed his pace was no fluke as he stayed near the top of the time sheets, ultimately finishing second behind Sykes, with a best time of 1:30.513.

    2015 EBR 1190SX Revealed

    Wed, 11 Jun 2014

Erik Buell Racing launches its next salvo to the sportbike market with the 1190SX streetfighter. The 1190SX borrows heavily from EBR’s 1190RX superbike contender that MO’s Troy Siahaan is scheduled to test today at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Although no specs have been released, the SX appears to use most of the RX’s hardware: 1190cc V-Twin engine; aluminum fuel-carrying frame; massive 386mm single-disc front brake.
