XB12R Sportbike This is the 25th anniversary edition. This bike is in AMAZING condition and only 7,439 mis on it!This Bike has never seen the track! All maintenance has been kept up by a Harley certified mechanic. The tires have less than 500mis on them. Included are 2 helmets, a mens Black Shoei and a womens helmet. 2 jackets, one leather mens jacket and the other womens jacket. There is also a storage bag that clips to the back over the set and a brand new bike cover that has never been taken out of the bag. The only time it has been parked out side is when I took it out. Other than that it stays in my gorage. The back seat has a hard plastic cover if no 1 is riding with you. The bike was rgisterd this January so there is almost a year left on it. The XB12R utilizes a compact wheelbase and race-inspired chassis geometry for nimble, intuitive handling. The 1203cc Thunderstorm V-Twin engine makes 103 peak horsepower at 6800 rpm, and 84 feet. lbs. of peak torque at 6000 rpm, with 75 percent of peak torque available at 3500 rpm. The InterActive Exhaust system utilizes a valve in the dual-chamber muffler that is controlled by the ECM and adjusts exhaust flow according to riding conditions to smooth torque delivery and optimize engine power. Erik Buell Racing to Attend Motodays Fiera Roma
Wed, 19 Feb 2014Erik Buell Racing is continuing to expand its European presence by appearing at Motodays Fiera Roma, one of Europe’s largest motorcycle trade shows. Held March 6-9 in Rome, Motodays will be an important event for EBR’s plans to establish a European dealer network. EBR opened its first European office last month in the Netherlands, but Motodays will be the European motorcycle show debut of the company and its 1190RX sportbike.

Tue, 20 Mar 2012The 2012 Daytona 200 delivered another fairy-tale finish with underdog privateer Joey Pascarella and the Project 1 Atlanta team fending off a pack of three other racers to win by a slim 0.048 second margin. Competing in just his first Daytona 200, 19-year-old Pascarella from Victorville, Calif., held the lead for 41 out of 57 laps to finish first ahead of a last year’s winner Jason DiSalvo while Cameron Beaubier squeezed by 2010 Daytona Sportbike Champion Martin Cardenas in a photo-finish to take third. For the Project 1 Atlanta team, the win marked a dramatic turnaround from a let down in 2011.
Hero MotorCorp Buys Half of Erik Buell Racing
Mon, 01 Jul 2013According to a press release from Hero MotorCorp, the U.S. arm of Hero, HMCL (NA), has agreed to purchase 49.2% of Erik Buell Racing for $25 million. HMCL (NA) is said to have transferred $15 million to EBR with the remaining $10 million to be paid within the next nine months. Hero says it will have two members and one observer sitting on the EBR board of directors but Erik Buell will continue as Chairman and CEO of the company.
