Buell 1125R description
I'm selling my 2009 Buell 1125CR. I don't want to sell her, but I've got to do it.
She is in fantastic condition. HMF pipe, racing ECM, seat has been reupholstered with gel (MUCH more comfortable than the stock seat), and high-rise handlebars. I have taken off the rear seat, pegs, etc, and also installed a custom 'tidy-tail'. The rear seat, etc, will be included, as well as the stock exhaust and stock handlebars. It really is hard to describe what a wonderful bike this is unless you have a lot of riding experience and you have ridden a Buell, like mine, before. This is a VERY nice bike. Here is a video so you can see how well she starts and how she sounds. I have her listed for sale, locally, also; therefore, I reserve the right to end this auction early and without notice. I will consider serious offers. Please contact me with any questions. |

FIM to Revise WSBK Homologation Requirements
Fri, 17 Jan 2014The International Motorcycling Federation is considering modifying its homologation requirements for the World Superbike Championship following Bimota‘s somewhat surprising plans to re-enter the series. Under current regulations, manufacturers must produce a minimum number of motorcycles for it to be eligible to compete in the production-based WSBK championship. The official regulations currently require a minimum of 125 units produced for an initial homologation inspection, 500 units produced by June 30 of the current year, 1,000 units by the end of the current year and 2,000 units by the end of the following year.
