BMW R-Series description

Only 5100 miles on this very clean R1200GS. ESA, ABS, Heated grips, Wire wheels, Vario side cases and top box. Never down, always garaged, no disappointments. Ready to ride anywhere. I bought a K bike and now the GS sits in the garage. Time for it to go to new home where it can be enjoyed to its full potential. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this bike. Condition is commensurate with a low mileage, well cared for, always garaged, never abused, vehicle. Still under factory warrantee. Last of the oil head GSs.

Deposit with paypal and the balance cash or cashiers check. Bike leaves my possession when I and my bank are sure that funds have cleared. No problem storing for a few weeks until shipping arrangements are complete.

BMW Reports 2012 Sales Results

BMW released its year-end 2012 financial report, reporting revenues of 1.49 billion euros (US$1.93 billion) from its motorcycle business in 2012, up from 1.44 billion euros in 2011. The increased revenues came in a record year for BMW with the company selling an all-time record of 106,358 motorcycles in 2012. Despite the increase in sales revenue, BMW reported a much smaller profit from its motorcycle business, earning 9 million euros (US$11.6 million) in 2012, compared to 45 million euros in 2011.

2014 WSBK Provisional Entry List – 27 Riders and 9 Manufacturers

The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) released a provisional entry list for the 2014 World Superbike Championship. The provisional list includes 27 riders riding motorcycles from nine different manufacturers. Of these riders, 12 are riding in the new EVO sub-category which limits engine upgrades and electronics to Superstock class rules.
