BMW R-Series description

1998 BMW R1200C Canyon Red "Chrome Head" fuel injected boxer motor.  This bike is in great condition. No scratches or dents, only normal signs of wear. Has been maintained and garage kept its entire life while on a battery tender. Has never been dropped or dumped. Always maintained with records of maintenance and purchases. Just installed a brand new BMW gel battery, has Montana passenger seat with grab rail and seat trim, luggage rack, factory quick release saddlebags, ABS brakes, Cee Baileys windshield.

EICMA 2012: BMW Announces New Boxer to Mark 90th Anniversary

Over the summer, we came across spy photos of a new naked version of the BMW S1000RR and a new air-cooled boxer roadster and hoped at least one of the two would be unveiled at either Intermot or the EICMA. Intermot came and went without a word and now EICMA is upon us we have … well, several words but no new model. Yet.

WSBK 2013: Assen Race Report

Tom Sykes earned his first win of the 2013 season and came a hair short of a double victory at the World Superbike Championship round at Assen in the Netherlands. Traditionally a fast starter and qualifier, Sykes started on the pole once again at Assen and had strong starts in both races. But unlike the first two rounds where he started strong before fading, the Kawasaki factory rider was able to remain at the front in both races at Assen and earn some valuable championship points.

46,061 Motorcycles Stolen in US in 2012

An average of 126 motorcycles were stolen in the U.S. every day in 2012, according to a report released by the the National Insurance Crime Bureau. That’s from a total of 46,061 motorcycles reported stolen that year a 1.3% improvement from the 46,667 motorcycles reported stolen in 2011.
