Vintage BMW classic "toaster tank" R60/5 motorcycle for sale. This is a second owner bike, I purchased this from the son of the original owner who purchased it new in 1973. The bike is in excellent shape, clean, in unrestored original condition. I had the cylinders off, valves replaced, and adjusted. Runs smooth. Carbs were rebuilt, but still drip some gas out of the overflow. Speedometer is not operative, so mileage is not accurate, but I probably only put a couple thousand on it since I acquired it. I registered this motorcycle a couple years ago, but I have let it expire. Even includes the original tire hand pump and tools BMW supplied with the bike when purchased. Local pickup only. I can assist in delivery. |

BMW K1600GT Named International Bike of the Year 2011
Thu, 19 Jan 2012The BMW K1600GT has been voted International Bike of the Year 2011 by a panel of motorcycle magazine journalists representing 25 publications from around the world. The six-cylinder BMW K1600GT received a score of 41 points from the jury to top all contenders. Second place went to the Ducati Diavel at 32 points.

With help of fellow traveler and sage, Northway, and a variety of other colorful characters along the way, Sanders gets learns the way of the road and the zen of the bar. The Best Bar in America is scheduled for release on DVD and iTunes this Spring.
