Up for sale is our 1960 BMW r69s this is your chance to own a rare one of a kind collectors item. No they did not originally come in this color. We painted it sea foam green to stand out and be eye catching. The frame is a 1960 r69s with sidecar mounts (vin number 655087) it has been professionally powdered coated black. It has an r50 motor (vin number 637222) So no the frame and motor numbers do not match. The point of this build for us was to show the world what our small shop is capable of. We have used it for a promotional piece for a year and a half now and its time to let it go to a new home. Please do your research before bidding. This is not Electric start, it is kick start only. BMW Unveils “Near-Production” C Evolution Electric Scooter Prototype

The German manufacturer has produced five operational prototypes of the BMW C evolution scooter which will be showcased at various events around Europe to prepare for the launch of the serial production version. The BMW C evolution maintains many of the styling cues from the Concept e scooter unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show.
BMW Reports Q1 2012 Results
Thu, 03 May 2012We already know BMW started 2012 off with a record first quarter with 24,373 motorcycles sold, with an additional 2,642 units from its Husqvarna subsidiary. BMW‘s quarterly report now reveals the U.S. accounted for 3,429 units sold in the first three months of the year, a 47.9% increase from 2,319 units over the same quarter of 2011.
