It has one the Daytona Boardwalk show, the Rat's Hole best custom build, The Dubai world motorcycle show and many more top honors. Along with all of the photos is an article written by Barnett's magazine detailing the complete build and how each and every nut and bolt on this stunning classic custom has been replaced and show polished to perfection! No expense was spared to create this one of a kind masterpiece, from the full carbon fiber fenders, wheels and fuel tank to the show polished frame, drive-train and exhaust system! This bike's selling for over $20,000 less than its appraised value and would be a steal for any collector!!! New: BMW System 6 Evo helmet
Fri, 12 Apr 2013BMW has released the new System 6 Evo flip-front helmet. It retains the clean lines of the System 6, while increasing levels of comfort and practicality with a more scratch-resistant internal sun visor, a more robust visor mechanism designed to make operation with gloved hands easier, improved ventilation control on the chin, and a revised spoiler for better aerodynamics. BMW says it has a unique chin bar pivot which reduces the size of the helmet when the chin bar is upright. Weighing in at 1.57kg, the ECE 22-05 homologated Evo is a quiet lid, with noise levels registering at 84-86 dBA at 62 mph. The helmet comes ready for installation of the BMW Communication system, offering a Bluetooth connection to the BMW Navigator IV sat-nav, music players, mobile phones and other BMW helmets.
Preliminary 2012 MotoGP Entry List Released
Fri, 13 Jan 2012The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) has released a preliminary entry list for the 2012 MotoGP World Championship. The provisional list includes 21 riders in the premiere class, including nine classified as Claiming Rule Team entries. Defending MotoGP Champion Casey Stoner will wear the #1 plate for the 2012 season, the first with both CRT entries and the new 1000cc engine displacement cap.
