This bike has 5950mis on it, has just about every option available for this model EXCEPT it does not have GPS or Radio CD or a tank bag. It does have folding highway pegs, all 3 rear mount bags, ASC, ESA, computer cruise control, electronic windscreen adjustment, electronic tire pressure sensor, self-extinguishing turn signals, heated seats and grips, accessory plugs in front and back. Never in an accident or dropped. There is plenty of tread left on both tires.Currently using nitrous in the tires. This bike is normal suspension, not the lower suspension bike. More on 2012 BMW S1000RR Recall

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has officially announced the recall for the 2012 BMW S1000RR, providing more information about the problem. According to documents released by NHTSA, the bolts on the connecting rods in the BMW S1000RR may come loose because of an anti-corrosive agent applied to the bolts. The anti-corrosive agent may effect the bolt torque, potentially leading them to come loose, particularly at high temperatures or rpms.

KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.

Eugene Laverty did everything he could, scoring a pair of race wins but it was not enough as Tom Sykes rode smartly and conservatively at the season finale in Spain, securing his first ever World Superbike Championship. Sykes landed in Jerez with a 37-point lead over Laverty and a 38-point lead over Sylvain Guintoli. While Laverty battled Marco Melandri to win Race One, Sykes coasted comfortably in third for most of the race to score 16 points, enough to clinch the title.
