Here it is and don't wait too long! That???s most assuredly a cut to the chase introduction but of all the used bikes we get we NEVER have enough used GS???s no matter what era or model. The demand always outweighs the supply and that???s because the GS is really the Swiss Army Knife of motorcycles. Lately we???ve even had overwhelming requests for the R80GS (there is one in the upcoming Project Bike Auction on October 5th)This is a very nice, well cared for, one owner nicely accessorized example. While it was owned by a long term loyal customer and ambassador at Bob???s this one was not sold by us. Despite the fact that it arrived in superb overall condition we still did the following so that the next owner basically gets a fresh starting point for all their records: Inspection II/24,000 mile service including air & oil filters, spark plugs, alternator belt and all fluids, we topped off the nitrogen in the tires that were installed at Bob???s just about 2,400 miles and one year ago, we installed a Powerlet socket which is standard at Bob???s, we installed new BMW front disc rotors (because they pulsed) and pads and replaced the hardware, we installed a recent new pull-off factory stock clear windscreen and then took it out for an extended test ride before completing the ADVANTAGE CERTIFIED INSPECTION and the Maryland State Safety Inspection. When it comes to stuff you???d want on a GS this one has pretty much all of it, the list includes the following useful and functional bling: Bag Connection tank bag, Adventure side wind deflectors, Russell Rider and passenger seats, Centech fuse block (located under the seat), Garmin 2610 Street Pilot with accessories, Throttle lock cruise control, Moto-Tech engine guards, Adventure foot pegs, Hyper lights, P3 lights, IDF Driving Lamps and an Adventure front fender and BMW expandable saddlebags (with a bunch of nice decals) and I suspect I may have left something out so look at all the images closely! All that is on top of a loaded bike from BMW that included the Safety package, hard to get Low Suspension, TPM, Hand Guards, Enduro ASC, the Luxury package (whatever that included) Heated grips, On Board Computer, Integral ABS II and Saddlebag mounts. So, naked without the luggage attached it???s a very well equipped machine for daily use and medium exploring and with the expandable bags and tank bag one is ready for all kinds of more serious adventures and travel. And with 2 keys, the factory tool kit and the owner???s manual there???s not much else one needs so grab it before a friend gets here first.

The Piaggio X10 slipped a little under the radar at the 2011 EICMA show behind other maxi-scooters such as Yamaha’s T-Max, BMW’s C650GT and C600 Sport and Piaggio’s own Aprilia SRV850. AMA Pro Racing Announces Basic Twins Flat Track Class for 2014 Season

Fri, 12 Apr 2013

AMA Pro Racing announced a new class for Flat Track racing designed to provide a new stepping stone for up-and-coming Pro-licensed racers, replacing the Pro Singles class in 2014. The new class, to be called Basic Twins, is more or less a revival of the Basic Expert Twins division that ran during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, but dropped when the Pro Singles class was introduced for 2009. The new class will give young racers a chance to showcase their skills on Twins, easing their transition to eventually enter the Grand National Expert Twins class.
